Chameleon has the most amazing team of dedicated staff with experience second to none in bridal wear. We all come from completely different backgrounds and each have our own style but we all share the same passion to help women to look and feel their best.
We are all passionate about our brides and love helping you find your perfect dress, as well as giving you an experience to remember. We are real women, with real life experiences, and we love meeting new brides.
Anneliese is the owner of Chameleon. She bought the business in 2016 as she wanted to be in a more ‘happy’ industry than her previous job as a lawyer. She is obsessed with shopping – and in particular shoes (don’t ask how many she owns – they may have their own room in her house!) Anneliese is super passionate about Chameleon and is always looking for ways to improve our brides’ experience.
She is always on the look out for new exciting designers to secure for the shop as she spends far too much on instagram!
You’ll often find Anneliese in her office buried under paperwork as she deals with all the boring bits including the website and social media. However she just adores it when she gets the chance to meet brides and help them find their dream dresses.
Anneliese is total crazy cat lady. When on holiday you’ll find her stealing food from people’s plates to feed the strays. She has 4 furbabies of her own at home and also regularly fosters cats for the amazing small local charity, Every Paw Matters.
She also sits on the Retail Bridalwear Association as Secretary.
Sophie is the Manager of Chameleon. She is lively, enthusiastic and little bit loud. She will be your hype girl and you will certainly hear her before you see her! She absolutely loves her job and it shows everyday. She is Anneliese’s wing woman/work wife (she sends Anneliese Valentine’s cards!) and she is the one that control’s the purse strings when we’re out buying new collections. If Anneliese had her way, she would buy everything!
Sophie is always a positive person and is highly organised. If you put something down. chances are Sophie will tidy it away before you come back.
Sophie has worked in retail since 16 and it shows as she is amazing at giving customers an exception experience. Everyone always comment about how relaxed they feel around her. From the moment you meet Sophie you will feel like you have known her for years and she’ll be as excited about your wedding as you are.
Fun fact about Sophie: She speaks fluent Dutch and her drink of choice is a pint (or 3!). When we went to a bridal event in London she exclaimed that it was in “Green-witch”
Kaleigh is a Senior Bridal Consultant, having joined us in 2022. She used to work on a makeup counter so can give you lots of advice about your skin and make up.
Kaleigh is known by her colleagues as “Hurricane Kaleigh” as when her appointments have finished, she has a million dresses, veils, capes, belts, sleeves and overskirts in her room. She is obsessed with finding THE gown for brides and if we don’t have the exact right one, she will go above and beyond the create that look using the customisation process. Her attention to detail is second to none. She truly want to help you find your dream dress and have THE BEST experience!
Fun facts about Kaleigh: She’s not a natural red head – though you really wouldn’t guess! She has a Jellycat obsession – as does Saturn and their bunnies often go on outings together (think teddy bear tea parties!). Kaleigh has over 200 nail varnishes and is the official “plant girl” as she has green fingers.
Kaitlin is the epitome of cool, calm and collected. She is the trend setter in our Boutique often keeping on top of fashion, sayings and music. Kaitlin is a worrier – but in a good way. She wants everything just to be utterly perfect for you! She will work tirelessly to make sure you are 100% happy and confident in your dress.
Kaitlin’s advice is to wear the dress that makes your heart sings and not to be too influenced by others.
Kaitlin has an artistic flare and has a talent for drawing.
Fun fact: She cannot say the word magenta leading to all of us now calling that pink colour Mag-netta!! Kaitlin’s claim to fame is that she is going to be featured in Stacey Dooley’s upcoming book about unusual pregnancies and births. Ask her about her story!
Saturn will make best friends with you from the outset. She is a truly a people person and you’ll feel like you’ve know her for years. There is always laughter and joy coming from her fitting room. She is the most positive person you will ever meet and wants every bride to feel their best.
Saturn has a passion for animals (particularly cows and bunnies) and loves a large glass of wine.
Her advice is not to over analyse the process of finding your dress, go with what makes you feel amazing.
Saturn has a Jellycat cow called “Main Man” who goes on dates with Kaleigh’s Jellycat bunny Apple.
Caroline is one of our seamstresses. She has over 25 years of experience in Design, Manufacturing and bespoke fittings and alterations. She has an artistic flair having studied art and textiles at university. She even used to work designing and making bridesmaid dresses for a large UK based company.
Caroline has been a part of Chameleon since 2002 and is an integral part of the time. She has had years to hone and refine her skills in bridal and occasionwear alterations. If anyone can do it – Caroline can!
She oozes patience and care. She is the calm, unflappable one and the voice of reason. She is amazing at supporting our brides during the fittings process and will hold their hand every step of the way. She has a keen eye for detail and is the creative one who often is the one who implements our ideas for the window displays.
Rosanna is our second seamstress. She has a wealth of sewing experience and is particularly skilled at occasionwear as well as bridal wear.
Chameleon is lucky enough to have had her working with us for over 14 years ensuring that our brides and mum’s dresses fit to perfection. Rosanna’s family is Sicilian and she has a real Italian flair (and yes her hair is always perfect!). She even was lucky enough to live there for a while and was awarded a diploma in pattern cutting and sewing.
Rosanna is calm and measured. She is passionate about what she does, is meticulous and super observant. You are in very safe hands.
Bev works in both the Mother of the Bride/Groom shop and in bridal alterations.
She is calm and nurturing and you’ll probably find yourself telling her your life story! Despite being with us for over a year, she still finds bridal so magical and often cries when she sees a bride in her dress at the end of the alteration process! She’s always dabbing her eyes!
Lisa works in our Mother of the Bride/Groom shop.
Lisa is bubbly and loves a good chat. She’ll not only find you your dream outfit, but is obsessed with finding the perfect hat so you feel your best on the big day.
